Information Security Director establishes and administers the overall strategies and procedures for the information security function. Develops and implements information security and disaster recovery programs in accordance with organizational information security standards. Being an Information Security Director evaluates information risk on a regular time schedule and promotes information security awareness within the organization. Requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Additionally, Information Security Director typically reports to top management. The Information Security Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Lead all aspects of RGA’s global Security Operations Center (SOC). Establish goals, metrics, determine opportunities for improvements, assign individual responsibilities, and provide training opportunities for associates. Determine and acquire resources needed for projects and support activities. Participate in the development of policies, procedures, standards, controls and security audits. Support IT related business planning requirements including, but not limited to budgeting, scheduling and workload planning.

The general pay range for this position is $TBD per year. Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location.
