Infection Control Manager jobs in Lubbock, TX

Infection Control Manager develops and implements infection control policies designed to reduce or eliminate outbreaks in the facility. Develops and implements facility-wide infection prevention and control measures to protect patients, staff and visitors. Being an Infection Control Manager monitors patient care for compliance with established standards and investigates known or suspected sources of infections in order to determine the source and ensure control. Develops and provides related education to staff. Additionally, Infection Control Manager complies with state, federal and Joint Commission standards relating to infection control. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Infection Control Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     The Strategic Account Manager will research and develop various marketing strategies for products and services. This role will conduct prospect research, gauge competitive positioning, network, and form strategic partnerships to grow Control Tech, while successfully maintaining the current customer base.

    Duties & Responsibilities:
    • Contributes information, ideas, and research to help develop marketing strategies.
    • Develops sales and marketing plans for each product or service being offered.
    • Motivates new and existing clients by establishing and enhancing proposals, providing clients information related to our products and services.
    • Appraises business opportunities and formulates strategies to obtain venture capital.
    • Keeps up to date on company best practices, programs, products, pricing, and promotions.
    • Identifies and qualifies potential clients/sales leads and builds relationships through phone calls, emails, and face-to-face meetings.
    • Creates and engages in post-sale activities, including follow up communication with customers to ensure satisfaction with products or services.
    • Analyses trends, data, demographics, pricing strategies, and other information that can potentially improve marketing and sales performance.
    • Creates and presents regular performance reports for managers and executives.
    • Attends trade shows and travels to meet clients as needed.
    • Participation/compliance with company safety programs & company policies.
    • Other duties as required.
    Required Skills/Qualifications:
    • Minimum 5 years’ industry experience.
    • Knowledge of community and markets in the area being serviced.
    • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
    • Persuasive skills with the ability to convince others to buy into your ideas, actions, products, and/or services.
    • Extensive knowledge of principles, procedures, and best practices in the oil and gas, instrumentation, and electrical industries.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Proficient with MS Office, ERP systems, or related software.
    • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
