Additionally, Infection Control Coordinator evaluates sterilization and disinfection methods and recommends changes as necessary. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Infection Control Coordinator contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. This position will work alongside a phenomenal Director of Nursing (DON) in leading the clinical team to success and providing outstanding care to our residents.
As the Infection Control Nurse you have the ability to positively impact the lives and overall health of the residents by overseeing the prevention, containing, and treating infections. Developing programs in compliance with regulations and guidelines. Provide staff and resident training and education on proper hygiene techniques. Administering medications, performing medical procedures and providing other care services.
This position is Full-Time Days with rotating weekends.
