Industrial Truck and Tractor Operator jobs in Connecticut
Industrial Truck and Tractor Operator drives gasoline or diesel powered tractors to move materials and tow trailers. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and must be licensed to operate a industrial truck/tractor. Being an Industrial Truck and Tractor Operator also requires 2-4 years of experience. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Industrial Truck and Tractor Operator relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. Major Responsibilities:
- Set up and Operate Laser CNC Machine
- Support in correcting operating difficulties
- Able to read and interpret blueprints.
- Select tools, feed and speed for machining applications
- Work with measuring tools
- Check parts for accuracy to quality standards
- Work self-sufficiently with a minimum of supervision
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Able to lift up between 50 -70 pounds repetitively
- Responsible for the Laser machine maintenance
- Responsible to create work instructions to train others.
- Observes all Company policies, rules, and regulations.
The position may require that the employee perform other duties as assigned.
Experience:
Minimum of 1-3 years with working with CNC Laser Operating Machine.
Sheet Metal Fabricating is a plus.
Education Minimum: Technical Degree
