What does the job entail?

• Performing basic mechanical and electrical improvements to both tractor and testing site.
• Testing machines already installed to check for performance and safety.
• Maintaining and managing equipment and testing site.
• Loading and transporting of tractors (familiar with pulling a truck and trailer)
• Acting as tractor safety driver.
• Regularly lifting 75 lbs.
• Traveling to customer sites (dependent on skillset 0% - 50%)
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
• Must possess reliable transportation capable of navigating light off-road terrain commonly found in vineyards and farm settings, ensuring timely arrival and departure for work duties.

What kind of person are we looking for?

• Heavy machine operating experience (Tractor experience preferred, but not required).
• Experience working hands-on at field test sites.
• Maintaining and managing equipment and testing site.
• Proven written and verbal and communication skills.
• The ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Customer-service oriented
• Safety minded
• Knowledge of tractor operations

More practical skills needed:

• Agricultural-related experience.
• Experience managing field-sites
• Passion for sustainability, innovative technologies, and agriculture.
• Experience with robotics and automation (experience with ROS a plus)
• Mechanical ability and technically savvy
