Industrial Hygienist coordinates, plans and conducts programs to educate employees about cleanliness, safety and sanitation in the workplace. Inspects facilities and work areas to prescribes corrective actions to reduce the health risks. Being an Industrial Hygienist provides advice on methods and procedures to reduce occupational health risks. Determines measures to avoid any recurrence of accidents. Additionally, Industrial Hygienist evaluates facilities to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promotes maintenance of a sanitary working environment. Conducts training in environmental compliance and the handling of hazardous materials. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager. The Industrial Hygienist contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.     Purpose of the Position

    The role of the Painter is to perform all work orders on time, on budget as per the contract specifications and consistently exceed the Company's quality and safety standards.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Flawlessly execute the project responsibilities for each job
    • Posses general knowledge of the painting, coatings and sandblasting industry
    • Set up and prepare materials to be painted and be able to perform the complete procedure from beginning to
    • Able to perform tasks using brush, roll, airless spray, pneumatic spray guns and with pressure
    • Be able to work in small confined spaces with limited natural light
    • Attend mandatory company specific training and safety sessions classes that occur after business hours and Enroll and attend painting industry knowledge advancement classes, seminars, speeches etc., without the compensation of additional wages from the company.
    • Complete required health testing including drug and pulmonary as
    • Ability to travel (50%) to job sites that will require overnight or extended
    • Identify and understand various types of special coatings and their
    • Able to perform tasks in weather conditions that includes rain, heat, and humidity, in a safe environment.
    • Posses a professional work ethic, attitude and respect for other team members and the
    • Use of equipment, materials and supplies used in the painting industry with utmost care.
    • Ability to take direction and work independently, be a self Complete daily activities according to work schedules.
    • Able to prepare equipment prior to paint, and have an understanding of the proper mixing procedures of paints/hardeners.
    • Ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds frequently. Must be able to climb a maximum of 50 Feet. Job requires excessive amounts of stooping, bending, pulling and crawling. Must have ability to meet deadlines.
    • Responsible for all company equipment, tools and materials. Possess skills to operate heavy equipment.
    • Identify job extras as requested by others and notify supervisor to gain approval/denial for such work. Refer any side jobs to supervisor for approval or denial.
    • Must be flexible in work schedules and location. Possess good communication skills; written and verbal.
    • Attend "Tool Box Topics" and submit required documentation. Must be able to read blueprints and project specifications.
