Being an Industrial Hygienist provides advice on methods and procedures to reduce occupational health risks. Determines measures to avoid any recurrence of accidents. Additionally, Industrial Hygienist evaluates facilities to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promotes maintenance of a sanitary working environment. Conducts training in environmental compliance and the handling of hazardous materials. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager. The Industrial Hygienist contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. We are looking for a Galv Laborer with industrial Forklift experience to operate powered industrial trucks to load and unload large highway safety products such as poles, trusses, bridge rail, guard rail, posts, etc, and move them to and from Galv staging areas, into the Galv plant or out to the shipping yard.
You will need to have stamina and the ability to lift heavy loads. You should be able to concentrate on performing your tasks and commit to safety rules. If you fit this description and you're also interested in doing tough but important work, we'd like to hear and meet you.
