Scout Boats is a premium boat manufacturer producing world class luxury boats ranging from 17’-67’. We are seeking a motivated Industrial Engineer that wants to be part of the best in the industry.

Responsibilities:
• Analyze, Refine and Create production schedules and time standards for building boats.
• Create a Master Task List from which production schedules and standard work tasks/instructions are created.
• Audit the current build process and identify and recommend solutions for improved processes and production
flow.
• Update ERP (Visual Infor) system data to reflect accurate or changing time standards and build process/order.
• Create and design templates, splashes and jigs to help production with consistent and quality assembly while
reducing production costs.
• Research best practices, methods and trends in manufacturing technologies and equipment. Collaborate with
the Engineering team to make changes to maintain our industry edge.

Requirements include a 4-year degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Related Engineering field. Must have at least 1 year Engineering experience in manufacturing (experience in marine manufacturing highly desirable). Use of hand and power tools is required.
