Summary
Regal Boats is seeking a motivated self-starter to join our team as an Industrial Engineer. Industrial Engineers are responsible for the process design, operation, and implementation. The successful candidate will be able to improve industrial processes to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability, and maximize profitability.
Key Responsibilities

Responsible for analyzing current manufacturing processes and designing and implementing more efficient production lines and workstations.
Collaborates with engineers and leadership to design cost-effective manufacturing layouts and building ergonomics for new product lines.
Design, redesign, or enhance work areas and layouts so that awkward or uncomfortable positions, repetitive motions, and inefficient operations are reduced or eliminated.
Maintains knowledge of best practices in manufacturing methods and trends and developments in technology and equipment; applies this knowledge to maintain the organization's competitive edge.
Identifies and assesses various problems and departures from established manufacturing standards and best practices; researches and recommends solutions.
Develops and maintains management information, planning, and control systems.
Implements methods and modifications to reduce production costs.
Trains the manufacturing team on new procedures upon implementation.
Ensure changes are implemented and monitor progress and results.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Thorough understanding of ergonomics and applicable industry standards
Bachelor’s degree – Industrial Engineering or Related Engineering Discipline
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
At least 1 year of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
Willingness to be in the manufacturing floor for the first 6 months on the job, to learn all production processes
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Competency in Lean Manufacturing principles
Familiar with utilizing PDCA Continuous Improvement model
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
CAD or AutoCad skills
Willingness to be in the manufacturing floor for the first 6 months on the job, to learn all production processes

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
