Actalent is looking to add a Process/Industrial Engineer to our consulting team, working in partnership onsite at a client of ours in the Salem region!

For this Process/Industrial Engineer, we are looking for a top performer that will fit our team dynamic - someone inquisitive, with a pioneering spirit, to collaborate on the vision of sustained continuous improvement. This Engineer will be supporting or owning all aspects related to plant engineering – CapEx, installing production lines, process improvements and cradle-to-grave engineering work. It will primarily be based around project based work, but there will be situations where this person will be pulled away to assist on solutioning any manufacturing issues – current projects are relocating equipment between facilities and working on a new production line. They will be writing DOE’s, supporting energy efficiency improvements (our client are proud members of Energy Trust's SEM program), writing work orders or putting in PO requests.
Overall, the key responsibilities of this Process/Industrial Engineer will be: overall process improvement, process control, implementing lean tools and/or structured problem solving, etc. They will be required to interpret engineering drawings with 2D and 3D CAD.
