Job Overview:
Frazier Industrial Company is the leading manufacturer of structural storage racking systems, with its headquarters located in Long Valley, NJ. We are looking to fill a position in the Quality Assurance Department for a full time Certified AWS QC1/CWB Level 1 certified welding inspector, this is full time position and is based out Idaho Falls, Idaho. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday, 5:30pm to 4:00am. The pay range is $33-$35 per hour plus a $2-night differential. Overtime may be required. This position requires a friendly, open-minded person with effective communication skills. This position requires constant floor inspection/documentation of all manufacturing processes including cutting, punching, shearing, notching, welding, and paint. Our welding process is a GMAW using (Spray Transfer)
QA Inspection Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Daily floor inspections, documentation, fixture inspection, weld inspections general overview of part fit-up, visual weld inspection, review of welding WPS’s & PQR’s, compliance of welding credentials and documents.
2. Performing welder certification testing per in house to the requirements of AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Code, this does include some minor destructive testing.
3. Writing Welder Qualification Records after WQR tests is required for this position.
4. Maintain daily inspection Records.
5. Monitor welder qualification records.
6. Maintain company control processes, procedures, and specifications.
7. Understand the requirements of the AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Code and requirements of the CWB W47.1-19/59-18.
8. Read and interpret fabrication drawings.
9. Communication with plant staff and engineering.
10. Daily verification of welding equipment and documentation.
11. Occasional travel by car or plane, with ability to adhere to Company travel requirements.
12. Maintaining the TG 1 requirements of Clark County.
13. Maintaining the requirements AWS, CWB, Clark County, City of Phoenix, and other counties and requirements.
14. Provide welder qualification in-house testing.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: All applicants must hold AWS certifications and within three months of hire date complete and pass CWB certification. The applicant should include those certification numbers with their resume.

G. Must be willing to travel when needed and have a personal credit card.
