For the first time in our Company’s history we are seeking to create the position of Industrial Engineer. The Industrial Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the production, maintenance and efficiency of our network of material processing facilities and material transfer stations. The Engineer will develop and implement a rigorous system aimed to measure and record plant and network efficiencies, and inefficiencies and regularly make recommendations to operations and management on improvements that will directly influence profitability.
We prefer, but do not require degrees in electrical/mechanical, industrial, environmental or civil engineering, mathematics. The ideal candidate will have 5 or more years of experience managing large scale systems in the industries of manufacturing, aerospace, distribution/logistics or environmental services. A PE designation and/or a masters degree are a plus. We seek a team oriented self-starter who is a calculated risk taker and embraces creativity.
