Job Summary:

Responsible to operate all cutting machinery, spread and cut fabric to the proper specification and ensure the upmost quality while cutting.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Operates the cutting machine in accordance with our procedures, to determine pattern pieces, layout and fabric cuts.

• Opera machines to cut multiple layers of fabric

• Study guides, samples and specification forms to determine set-up requirements.

• Program electronic equipment

• Examines final product to ensure accuracy and quality standards.

• Maintains safety awareness in, and around work areas and report potential areas of concern

• Maintain high quality standards, as required

• Performs other duties as required or as instructed.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand all day and move hands constantly
• Must be able to have good visual skills.

• Light lifting, pushing/pulling are required

• Work near moving parts and high temperatures.

• Occasional overtime are required.
