Industrial Engineer designs equipment or machine layout to coordinate activities and production planning to ensure products meet quality standards while minimizing production problems and costs. Develops and maintains manufacturing routes for maximizing space, efficiency, and effectiveness. Being an Industrial Engineer ensures compliance with industry safety and design standards and guidelines. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Implement Lean Manufacturing principles
Implement and lead the Kaizen process
Provide leadership for the Lean fabrication and Kaizen implementation team
Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements
1 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
In depth knowledge of Lean manufacturing, proven tools and practices in project and change management
Knowledge of simulation, vision, and or drawings an asset
Excellent organizational skills
Self-motivated and strives to accomplish goals
Prompt and regular attendance
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites
Team player mindset
Excellent time management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
