Overview:
We are seeking a talented and creative Industrial Controls Designer to join our team. As an Industrial Controls Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative products that meet the needs of our clients and consumers. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives
- Conduct research to identify user previous projects done by Trimac that are similar
- Create sketches, 3D models, and prototypes to visualize design concepts
- Use CAD software (SolidWorks, or AutoCAD) to develop detailed control panel designs
- Program PLC and HMI
- Program gas safety controls
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure designs are feasible and meet technical specifications
- Conduct product testing and iterate designs based on feedback
- Create technical documentation, including drawings and specifications
- Write operation and maintenance manual for control panel operation
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in design technology

Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design desired
- Proven experience as an Industrial Designer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, logic controllers
- RS Logix 5000 suit experience
- Siemens Combustion Controls experience
