Position Summary
The Product Development Department at Titan Brands is the gas pedal that drives our growth. We operate with full autonomy to design and develop new products that fit within our target markets, while continuing to explore new target markets for additional growth - managing new products all the way from idea to conception and through the initial sales and marketing. As the product developer, you will be responsible for designing the entirety of each of your products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Idea generation for new products and refinement of current products.
- Drive development of new products from concept through production.
- Develop products with overseas supplier network.
- Perform initial market analysis, margin expectation, and sales projections.
- Review, revise, and approve engineering drawings and 3-D models.
- 3D print development prototypes
- Maintain 3D Print Lab
- Generate KeyShot presentation renderings.
- Negotiate unit pricing and tooling with suppliers.
- Coordinate prototype testing and inspection with suppliers and QA team.
- Cross-functionally support: quality team, marketing team, supply chain, parts division, legal, and customer service to ensure product success.
Requirements
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design and/or Product Design program
- Proficiency in Office, CAD and PDM software.
- 3D printing experience
- Innovative mind. Ability to think outside the box and accomplish tasks with low to moderate level of guidance.
- Ability to manage fast paced development cycle, working on 10 projects at any given time.
- Demonstrate skill to visually communicate with outside suppliers to develop ideas into finished product.
- Strong understanding of common materials & manufacturing processes (metal fabrication, extrusions, injection molding, etc.).
- Willingness to take on projects across all brands.
- Willingness to work in manufacturing/distribution environments when necessary.
- **A portfolio is required for consideration.

Work Environment
- 90% in corporate office, 10% at other sites for product testing and inspections. No long-distance travel required.
