The Nurse Manager is responsible for the daily operations as well as the overall delivery of patient care through promotion of safety and well-being of all patients throughout their assigned departments. They are responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. The Clinical Nurse Manager will direct and coordinate all nursing care for their assigned unit based on established clinical nursing practice standards. They will collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. The clinical nurse manager supports the organization's vision and mission, utilizes knowledge of patient age and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care. They have an understanding of HIPAA policies and procedures, understands the importance of patient safety, and actively participate in patient safety through evidence-based practices.
Nurse managers are responsible for managing human and financial resources; ensuring patient and staff satisfaction; maintaining a safe environment for staff, patients, and visitors; ensuring standards and quality of care are maintained; and aligning the unit's goals with the hospital's strategic goals

Position Requirements:

• Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years hospital-based nursing care experience required; 2 years experience in relevant nursing leadership / manager / charge-role preferred
• Current Indiana Registered Nurse license required
• Chemotherapy Immunotherapy certification required within 1 year of hire
• BLS Certification required

• Previous oncology or infusion experience preferred; ONS certification preferred
