Import/Export Supervisor supervises the administration of documentation processes required to import and export merchandise and materials in compliance with federal, state, local, or country-specific regulations. Reviews all required documentation and supporting calculations of duties, tariffs, price conversions, weight, and volume of products. Being an Import/Export Supervisor verifies all payment transactions are completed according to requirements. Ensures that all documentation is up to date and recorded in tracking systems. Additionally, Import/Export Supervisor resolves issues and expedites solutions with clients, customs officials, and shippers. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Import/Export Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Import/Export Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Responsibilities:- Provide supervision, guidance, and support to a team of nurses
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations
- Manage and coordinate daily nursing activities
- Assist with hiring, orienting, and training new nurses
- Evaluate and monitor the performance of nursing staff
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Facilitate effective communication and teamwork among the nursing staff
- Handle and resolve any patient or staff concerns
- Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as an RN
- Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work well under pressure
- Flexibility to work various shifts and weekends as needed
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other relevant healthcare software
- Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
