    STAFF SUPERVISION

    Ensure Individual Service Coordinator employees adhere to agency mission, goals and PSCI Operational Guidelines.

    Responsible for hiring and training Individual Service Coordinators for their service area.

    Collaborates with Human Resources to conduct interviews and select applicants to recommend for hire to the Executive Director/Associate Executive Director.

    Conducts annual performance appraisals on employees he/she supervises within 6 months on new employees and yearly thereafter.

    Monitor Performance Management of all Individual Service Coordinator employees he/she supervises.

    • Ensures adequate staff coverage on a daily basis. Assure emergency situations are handled promptly and to delegate work assignments as needed; provide coordination of Individual Service Coordinator caseloads.
    • Oversees the daily schedule of all Individual Service Coordinator employees for their service area - answer questions, resolve conflicts and approves requests for leave.

    Is available 24/7 via of company cell phone to assist with PAS emergencies except when paid time is taken.

    Works with all supervised staff to ensure Medicaid edibility is current and maintained. Will collaborate with ISC's, families, Individuals and DHS Department Offices to ensure compliance, within assigned Region.


    PROGRAMMATIC DUTIES

    Monitors all billing and addresses any discrepancies, to ensure PSCI compliance with DHS/DD standards and requirements.

    Reviews employee travel expense forms for accuracy before submission for payment to the Executive Director/Associate Executive Director.

    Ensure all payroll data is entered into Birdseye on time and accurately.


    MANAGEMENT

    Completes assigned tasks, including but not limited to; crisis, E-Packets, required DHS forms, requests, and ICF/DD outreach activities, meeting internal and external deadlines.

    Assists other team members and peers when requested.

    Responds to provider/guardian/individual/DHS concerns in a timely matter.

    Attends all Agency meetings, as requested by Executive Director/Associate Executive Director.

    Keeps Executive Director/Associate Executive Director informed verbally and in writing of problems and activities within assigned area of responsibility; refers matters beyond limits of authority and expertise to Executive Director/Associate Executive Director for direction.

    Other duties as assigned.


    JOB QUALIFICATIONS

    A Bachelor's degree in human services and QIDP eligibility required, with five years work experience in human services, including staff supervisory experience. Master's degree in human services preferred.

    Demonstrates a working knowledge of the developmental disabilities service delivery system, including recipient eligibility requirements and procedures.

    Demonstrates ability to work and interact effectively with professionals, paraprofessionals and other social service organizations and with the clients and families served through PSCI.

    Must have the ability to work well in teams of co-workers.

    Must have the flexibility to work hours outside of the normal workweek.

    Must have the ability to follow directions and to accept constructive criticism.

    Demonstrates the ability to make sound clinical judgments.

    Must have reliable transportation to and from work or be able to access transportation to work. Maintain a valid Illinois Driver's License and personal auto insurance and maintain a good motor vehicle record.


    PHYSICAL EXPECTATIONS

    Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively.

    Must be able to ambulate, sit and bend.

    Must be able to carry files.

    Must be able to lift up to 5 lbs. or pull a carrier.
