Implementation Manager manages a team of implementation specialists responsible for installing and deploying technical systems, software, hardware, or solutions. Ensures the team is following department policies and procedures. Being an Implementation Manager manages and supports multiple implementation projects. Assesses client's requirements, develops scopes and cost estimates, and creates project plans and schedules. Additionally, Implementation Manager ensures that implementations are completed on time, within budget, and meet client expectations. Responds to and resolves escalated client issues during or after implementations. Troubleshoots and recommends solutions to implementation problems or challenges. May be involved in pre-sales product demonstrations or assist in developing proposals. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of technical specialty. Typically reports to a director. The Implementation Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Implementation Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Job Description:
The Role
The Implementation Project Manager (PM) for Emerging Products will act as the primary interface between the client and all internal groups related to implementations and new service additions. The PM is ultimately accountable for leading multiple client implementations for projects including, but not limited to, Student Debt, Health Savings Account (HSA), Workplace Giving, and Single Sign-on.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Knowledge of HR business functions, applications, and technical environment
- Client facing experience with end users, internal teams, external clients as well as 3rd party vendors as central point of contact for all project related deliverables.
- Experience Creating project plans and monitoring progress against plan, including communicating deliverable, timelines, best-practice data, and process solutions to clients
- Familiarity with WI Products and Services across all product lines
- Related work experience, undergraduate and/or graduate degree(s). A Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Strong team building skills.
- Highly organized and able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent judgment and project management skills
- Results/willing to take action and have attention to detail
