Implementation Manager manages a team of implementation specialists responsible for installing and deploying technical systems, software, hardware, or solutions. Ensures the team is following department policies and procedures. Being an Implementation Manager manages and supports multiple implementation projects. Assesses client's requirements, develops scopes and cost estimates, and creates project plans and schedules. Additionally, Implementation Manager ensures that implementations are completed on time, within budget, and meet client expectations. Responds to and resolves escalated client issues during or after implementations. Troubleshoots and recommends solutions to implementation problems or challenges. May be involved in pre-sales product demonstrations or assist in developing proposals. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of technical specialty. Typically reports to a director. The Implementation Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Implementation Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Job Summary

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Broadband Implementation Business Development Manager with a strong background in program management to oversee the successful deployment of broadband services in our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing the end-to-end implementation process, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of high-quality broadband services to our customers.

    Responsibilities

    • Program Management
    • Develop and execute comprehensive program plans for broadband implementation projects, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
    • Monitor and track project progress, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion.
    • Broadband Infrastructure Planning
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and plan the deployment of broadband infrastructure, including fiber optics, wireless, and other relevant technologies.
    • Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to determine the most effective implementation strategies.
    • Stakeholder Communication
    • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, challenges, and milestones.
    • Address inquiries and concerns from customers, regulatory bodies, and community members.
    • Budget Management
    • Develop and manage budgets for broadband implementation projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal resource allocation.
    • Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising project quality.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
    • Proven experience in program management, particularly in broadband infrastructure deployment.
    • In-depth knowledge of broadband technologies, including fiber optics, wireless networks, and related equipment.
    • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and permitting processes related to broadband implementation.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders.
    • Project management certification (PMP or equivalent) is preferred.
    • Familiarity with GIS (Geographic Information System) tools is an advantage
    • Preferred Experience
    • 5 years customer facing interaction and problem-solving experience preferred.
    • Past team leadership experience preferred.
