Software Implementation Manager

This is an in-office position based in Norfolk, VA.

We are seeking an experienced manager/leader for our enterprise implementation team tasked with servicing our new stadium and event venue clients. Typical implementation projects take 1-3 months from inception to completion. This role will be to provide leadership, focus and team accountability for client success.

The primary duties of this position involve leading people, developing processes, establishing order, and ultimately creating great customer experiences for new YD clients.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Manage all implementation phases, including planning, kick-off, configuration, training, go-live, and hand-off to our client services team.
• Manage deliverables, timeliness and budgets
• Direct day-to-day team activities, meetings
• Establish and meet expectations and milestones
• Proactively collaborate and communicate with other YD departments, specifically Sales and Client Services
• Lead communication with client stakeholders and team members through completion of the project
• Provide scheduled and on-demand status reports and updates
• Assess, manage, resolve and escalate (when necessary) risks and issues
• Tailor processes to meet the needs of individual projects

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated success with project management and related methodologies
• Strong organizational, planning and time management skills
• Hospitality management or concessions experience, multi-unit operations
• Eagerness to take ownership with positive, upbeat personality
• Excellent communication & teaching skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Zoho, Base Camp or similar tools
• Ability to think independently and demonstrate good judgment
• Collaborative, forward movement mindset
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and lead teams
• Experience in hospitality, stadium management, or concessions industries

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
