IT Vendor Relationship Manager manages the organization's strategic technology vendor management program to meet company needs and comply with required quality standards. Assists with selecting the company's product and service providers and tracks the procurement of IT products and services to monitor and maintain operational costs and budgets. Being an IT Vendor Relationship Manager leads request for proposals (RFP) process to vet the reputation and quality of vendor products. Negotiates service level agreements to ensure performance/quality metrics, responsibilities, expectations, and penalties are clearly defined. Additionally, IT Vendor Relationship Manager works closely with internal teams to monitor, maintain, and improve existing vendor relationships. Conducts regular business reviews to ensure compliance with company expectations, review issues, and develop solutions. May require experience with software licensing and hardware procurement. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The IT Vendor Relationship Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an IT Vendor Relationship Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Required Skills:-

    • High School diploma, trade school or general education degree (GED) required with ability to read, write and comprehend English required (operational process, safety and quality instructions).
    • Some college/ degree preferred. PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word.
    • At least five years operations and supervisory experience with thorough knowledge of the methods and techniques used in a similar environment utilize heavy equipment. Mechanical aptitude essential along with scheduling and cost control experience.
    • Exposure to shift scheduling cost control, safety, environmental and facilities/capital equipment management.
    • Demonstrates leadership ability and ability to coordinate resources (personnel, equipment, materials, facilities, funds and reputation).
    • Ability to prepare accurate, effective, complete and easily understood written communications and reports.
    • Must have the ability to diagnose process problems, troubleshoot basic equipment and take corrective action within policy and procedure limitations.
    • Must understand and follow all safety policies and apply good safety practices while working and possess an exemplary safety record

    TRAINING REQUIRED:

    • Employee Orientation; Safety, Equipment, Regulatory training; financial and budget training; performance management. Must stay abreast of advancements in technology and systems. Advanced functions may be assigned as part of development.

    Salary: $115,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
