As a Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures. Duties:
- Perform pre-procedure assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and patient education
- Assist in the preparation and positioning of patients for cardiac catheterization procedures
- Administer medications and intravenous fluids as ordered by the physician
- Monitor patients during procedures, assessing vital signs and responding to any changes or complications
- Assist the physician during procedures, providing necessary instruments and supplies
- Perform post-procedure care, including monitoring vital signs, assessing puncture sites, and providing patient education on discharge instructions
- Document all aspects of patient care accurately and timely in electronic medical records
