IT Vendor Relationship Director designs and implements the organization's strategic technology vendor management program to meet company needs and comply with required quality standards. Selects providers and oversees procurement of IT products and services to monitor and maintain operational costs and budgets. Being an IT Vendor Relationship Director administers the request for proposals process to vet the reputation and quality of vendor products. Negotiates service level agreements to ensure performance/quality metrics, responsibilities, expectations, and penalties are clearly defined. Additionally, IT Vendor Relationship Director works closely with managers and teams to monitor, maintain, and improve existing vendor relationships. Conducts regular business reviews to ensure compliance with company expectations, review issues, and develop solutions. May require experience with software licensing and hardware procurement. Requires a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. Typically reports to top management. The IT Vendor Relationship Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. The Director of Outsourcing and Vendor Governance is responsible and accountable for leading and implementing the Outsourcing and Vendor Governance strategies, develop effective partnerships with stakeholders at all levels to ensure execution of sourcing strategies to achieve year over year value in the forms of savings, risk mitigation and build and improved strong supplier performance. The Director is accountable for the line management of the Outsourcing and Vendor Governance team, including development, coaching, talent planning and performance management. This position will report into the Executive Director/Head of Clinical Contracts and Outsourcing (CC&O). Both strategic and tactical execution are key to success in this role.

This role can be based at our Hayward or Brisbane, CA location (preferred) or can be remote based. The anticipated salary range for fully qualified candidates applying for this position is $171,000 - $235,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate of what we reasonably expect to pay for this posted position. The actual salary may vary based on various factors including, without limitation, individual education, experience, tenure, skills and abilities, internal equity and alignment with market data.
