IT Vendor Relationship Director designs and implements the organization's strategic technology vendor management program to meet company needs and comply with required quality standards. Selects providers and oversees procurement of IT products and services to monitor and maintain operational costs and budgets. Being an IT Vendor Relationship Director administers the request for proposals process to vet the reputation and quality of vendor products. Negotiates service level agreements to ensure performance/quality metrics, responsibilities, expectations, and penalties are clearly defined. Additionally, IT Vendor Relationship Director works closely with managers and teams to monitor, maintain, and improve existing vendor relationships. Conducts regular business reviews to ensure compliance with company expectations, review issues, and develop solutions. May require experience with software licensing and hardware procurement. Requires a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. Typically reports to top management. The IT Vendor Relationship Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be an IT Vendor Relationship Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.   • Dealership: L0105 Lithia Home Office Vendor Relationship Manager The Vendor Relationship Manager is primarily responsible for identifying and implementing responsible purchasing practices through analysis of vendor selection and purchase procedures. The Vendor Relationship Manager will also assist in company cost reductions by identifying and limiting controllable expenses. The Vendor Relationship Manager reports to the Procurement Supervisor. Location: Medford, OR or Remote, PST Compensation Range: $50,000 - $55,000 annually Responsibilities Liaise with other internal departments as required to resolve vendor’s issues and questions Maintain a high level of communication with all stakeholders, manage reporting and monitoring, conduct regular performance reviews for vendors and internal stakeholders Handle inbound service requests and ensure that they are properly assigned or addressed Monitor contractual agreements, access, assets and spend by external vendor Track and review contracts for renewal, monitor expiration dates, renewal options, proactively review for termination or renewal with department or dealership confirmation Conduct data analysis and present insights with internal stakeholders to understand opportunities to improve Sourcing and Selection – work with business partners to manage the sourcing and selection of suppliers and assist with identifying new suppliers Understand and apply program strategies to decision making and proposals Employ critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills to navigate complex issues that arise Managing supplier data that allows organizations to streamline crucial supplier data to provide meaningful insights for improving supplier management Program Implementation, management and maintenance Managing supplier data Other duties as assigned Skills and Qualifications Strong attention to detail Sense of urgency Excellent communication Time Management Competencies Does the right thing, takes action and adapts to change Self-motivates, believes in accountability, focuses on results, makes plans and follows through Believes in humility, shares best practices, desires to keep learning, measures performance and adapts to improve results Thrives on a team, stays positive, lives our values Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.* Up to 1/3 of time: standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds Up to 2/3 of time: sitting, kneeling, reaching, talking, hearing *Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions.
