IT Vendor Relationship Director designs and implements the organization's strategic technology vendor management program to meet company needs and comply with required quality standards. Selects providers and oversees procurement of IT products and services to monitor and maintain operational costs and budgets. Being an IT Vendor Relationship Director administers the request for proposals process to vet the reputation and quality of vendor products. Negotiates service level agreements to ensure performance/quality metrics, responsibilities, expectations, and penalties are clearly defined. Additionally, IT Vendor Relationship Director works closely with managers and teams to monitor, maintain, and improve existing vendor relationships. Conducts regular business reviews to ensure compliance with company expectations, review issues, and develop solutions. May require experience with software licensing and hardware procurement. Requires a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. Typically reports to top management. Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of heavy equipment, including backhoes, loaders, dump trucks, bulldozers, excavators, scrapers, paving equipment, and water trucks
- Perform tasks such as digging, building, and bulldozing using the equipment
- Safely operate equipment to ensure efficient and effective completion of assigned tasks
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating the equipment
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment such as backhoes, loaders, dump trucks, bulldozers, excavators, scrapers, paving equipment, and water truck
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong understanding of equipment operation and maintenance procedures
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or construction plans a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
