IT Vendor Management Analyst jobs in Tennessee

IT Vendor Management Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day administration of technology vendor relationships and serves as the organization's point of contact to ensure smooth performance of operations. Assists vendor selection by reviewing and evaluating requests for proposals and contracts. Being an IT Vendor Management Analyst monitors compliance with service level agreements to ensure performance/quality metrics, responsibilities, and expectations are met. Develops dashboards, reports, and presentations to track vendor performance. Additionally, IT Vendor Management Analyst proactively identifies areas where performance is at risk and collaborates with vendors to establish service quality mitigation strategies. Appropriately escalates vendor product and service issues. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The IT Vendor Management Analyst work is closely managed. As an IT Business Application Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering business requirements and designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that meet the needs of our organization. You will work closely with other IT team members to ensure that our systems are running smoothly and efficiently.

    This position reports to the Sr. Director of Applications.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Partners with business leaders to assist in the continuous improvement of business processes and application capabilities through standardization, improvements, and configuration changes.

    • Collaborates on complex business processes to improve and integrate new systems or functionality with existing ones to ensure systems meet long-term business strategies.

    • Responsible for championing the review of application exceptions, analyzing information that will assist the business teams in identifying root causes and overseeing resolutions.

    • Follows established processes to identify requirements and specifications and assist with training plans.

    • Generates appropriate project documentation in support of the planning and delivery of project efforts.

    • Designs and documents test plans for all changes. Performs unit testing and oversees end-user testing.

    • Serves as a liaison between development teams and internal/external business partners.

    • Works independently, or on a team, to provide solutions that deliver value back to our business.

    • Provides application support and troubleshooting including application administration and configuration.

    • Clearly communicates with business partners, IT team members and management.

    • Work with users at all levels in the organization.

    • Responsible for project management oversight, as needed.

    Education & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 5 years of analysis experience.

    • 5 or more years of application support and configuration experience.

    • 4 or more years of working with end users to define business requirements.

    • 4 or more years of ERP experience

    • D365 Finance and Operations ERP experience a plus

    • 2 or more years of multi-project oversight

    • Manufacturing and Finance experience required.

    • Working with applications and users remotely is a plus.

    • Must be 18 years or older.

    Competencies & Skills:

    • Strong communication, relationship, and interpersonal skills to aid in development of collaborative partnerships, including those where English is not their primary language.

    • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize work, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing priorities to meet deadlines, and with minimal supervision.

    • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

    • Working knowledge of project planning tools and concepts.

    Physical Demands:

    • Travel requirements: 5% - 15%
