Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. The purpose of the Quality Assurance Specialist is to support production and ensure consistent product quality. This is achieved through in line sampling, internal and external sorting, and product testing on laboratory equipment to ensure product meets or exceeds customer expectations.
