IT Quality Assurance Analyst assists in the evaluation, testing, and validation of IT systems, services and /or software. Assesses service levels and product performance to ensure they meet established quality standards. Being an IT Quality Assurance Analyst documents issues and tracks status in designated systems. Develops or participates in the development of solutions to resolve problems. Additionally, IT Quality Assurance Analyst requires a bachelor's degree in IT or related field. Typically reports to a manager. The IT Quality Assurance Analyst work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. A Quality Assurance Analyst will create and execute software test plans. Help ensure the quality release of software to meet Idaho Central Credit Union business objectives and minimize negative impact to users.
A results-oriented individual who thrives working in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 3 years relevant experience required. Preference given for post-secondary degree in Computer Science/Computer Information Systems, Mortgages Systems (Encompass, Blend, and Mortgage Related Back Office Processes), Software Engineering, or related field or a combination of related experience and education. Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities. Willingness to work outside of normal business hours. Excellent English oral and written communication skills. Ability to work with other department supervisors. Knowledge of quality assurance/software testing processes, methodologies, and procedures. Requires excellent attention to detail. Must be able to meticulously analyze software applications to ensure quality. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to always maintain the confidentiality of the Credit Union and member records.
Performance Standard:
High level of professionalism. A demonstrated ability to work well with others. Lead testing efforts and perform testing on IT projects including internal/external software development, upgrades, and releases to ensure systems under test perform as expected and are error free. Make recommendations to meet the goals and objectives of the Credit Union functions, procedures, and policies. Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems. Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by Idaho Central Credit Union.
