Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage complex IT projects within the DoD, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the agreed quality standards.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, and report on project status to stakeholders regularly.
• Manage project risks, issues, and changes, ensuring they are appropriately identified, assessed, and resolved.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management.
• Ensure compliance with DoD and military standards and regulations in all project activities.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and practices within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in IT Project Management, preferably within the DoD or military environment.
• Strong understanding of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and experience in applying project management methodologies (such as Agile) in a practical setting.
• Proficiency in software development and data collection techniques.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is highly desirable.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and risk management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
