IT Project Engineer is responsible for the completion of long-term IT engineering projects. Performs engineering design evaluations and works to complete projects within budget and scheduling restraints. Being an IT Project Engineer develops, implements, and monitors information systems policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance. Reviews reports of computer and peripheral equipment production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine and address problems. Additionally, IT Project Engineer requires a bachelor's degree. May require ongoing training in network/telecom seminars. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be an IT Project Engineer typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.     General responsibilities include:
    • Review project schedules and provide recommendations based on execution goals
    • Perform critical path analyses and identify schedule-related problems, recommend corrective actions
    • Conduct site walks for progress validation and prepare monthly reporting packages for the project site team
    • Develop metrics, KPIs, and benchmarks to support the program
    • Review the contractor’s progress and present it to management for decision-making
    • Communicate project status and challenges effectively
    • Review and evaluate contract change orders and amendments for impact on budget and schedule


    Requirements:
    • Two to four years of construction experience in any of the following industries,
    • Airports
    • Wastewater or Water facilities
    • Healthcare/Laboratories
    • Pharmaceutical
    • Manufacturing
    • Government facilities (USACE/NAFAC/Public Safety)
    • Educational (K-12 schools/Higher Education)
    • Commercial (Office Buildings/Lodging)
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
    • Passion and commitment to learning and participating in the BootCamp program

    Details:
    • Bootcamp will begin on February 5.
