Summary and Overall Objectives of the Position
Project Coordinator(s) provide management assistance on all projects from conception through completion of finished structure. Project coordinators are expected to demonstrate leadership by following company standards and policies, achieving shared goals, developing others, and building high morale and commitment.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Essential functions of this position include:
· Maintain Sub/Supplier contact lists throughout all assigned projects.
· Enter Schedule of Values into accounting systems from project manager provided format.
· Execute project subcontracts and purchase orders based upon submitted and awarded bids/ proposals.
· Track contract documents through execution.
· Write and track change orders through project completion.
· Assist with preconstruction process, when applicable.
· Assist project managers in creating and distributing project schedule(s).
· Assist project managers in obtaining building permits for projects.
· Assist in coordination and management of jobsite meetings.
· Record and transcribe meeting minutes for jobsite meetings.
· Coordinate and execute closeout process at the end of all projects.
· Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Type and Expected Hours or Work
This position is full-time. The expected number of hours worked each week is a minimum of forty (40) hours, or more as needed to complete required functions within deadlines. Our work hours are Monday – Thursday from 7:30 – 5:00 with a 30 min lunch period, and Friday from 8:00 – 12:00.
Travel
Minimal travel is expected for this position, however, from time to time, may be necessary depending on job site locations. Travel by motor vehicle to jobsites is required. Any travel will take place primarily in the state of Iowa and will typically involve same day travel only. Overnight travel will be infrequent.
Required Education and Experience
Construction management degree from an accredited college or university, or three (3) years related experience.
