Being an IT Project Coordinator identifies and analyzes systems requirements and defines project scope, requirements, and deliverables. Coordinates project activities and ensures all project phases are documented appropriately. Additionally, IT Project Coordinator requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be an IT Project Coordinator typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.     Experience and Education
    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management or related field, or the equivalent in technical certifications.
    • At least 5 years of experience in IT project coordination or related roles.
    • Past Project Management experience is required. Experience should include Project Management knowledge and capabilities, including budgeting, project phasing, and milestone(s) management.
    • Industry-related experience highly desired: MSP/MSSP and experience is preferred.
    • Preferred Certifications: CompTIA Project , Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Project Management Professional (PMP).
    • References must corroborate an ability to be a high-functioning team player. 

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Work with internal teams and the client to develop and communicate project expectations, requirements, schedules, and budgets.
    • Identify priorities and key dependencies essential to successful project completion and communicate any gaps in a timely manner.
    • Coordinate project activities, monitor and communicate progress, and identify risks to ensure on time, on budget delivery of milestones.
    • Organize and lead project meetings, including agenda preparation, meeting minutes, and action item follow-up.
    • Assist in the preparation of a Project Retrospective for every completed project including analysis and presentations.
    • Ensure adherence to project management best practices, policies, and procedures.

    • Understanding of IT infrastructure and technologies
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proficiency in project management tools and software
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

    Purpose of the Role:
    The primary purpose of the IT Project Coordinator role is to ensure the successful planning and execution of IT projects.
