TRISTAR is an IT Project Coordinator for our government customer in Bloomington, IN

Position Description:

• The IT Project Coordinator will provide administrative support for a govt customer overseeing a rebuild of a legacy system
• Play critical role in achieving short and long term milestones for the project
• Communicate regularly with members of the team to ensure progress is being made and actions are being completed on time and within project deadlines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues
• Assists with preparing and maintaining documentation for processes, policies, procedures, and tracking of overall project

Position Responsibilities:

• Assist in the creation of project plans, develop project scope and objectives, assure that relevant information is captured and analyzed, draft business and system processes, assess risks and track progress
• Translate scope and objectives into tasks and schedules, assign and monitor tasks
• Create and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that it accurately reflex the priorities and requirements for the project
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision, strategy, and road map
• Monitoring daily the sprint, ensuring timely updates, and tracking of project tasks. Reporting any issues to govt stakeholders
• Ensure business logic and decisions are accurately recorded
• Record and store meeting minutes, capturing critical discussions and decisions for future reference and alignment
• Record and track action items

Position Requirements:

• Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Experience working with a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality products on schedule
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and principles
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable plans
• Experience working with a ticketing system
• Proficiency in documenting project plan clearly and concisely
• Knowledge of information systems development life cycle, information technology, project tools and approaches to development and implementation
• MUST be a US Citizen
• Must have active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one

Education and Certification:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• IAT level II certification with DoD 8570 (Example CompTIA Security Plus) or willingness to obtain prior to start date
