Job Title – IT Supervisor, RSI

Description:  We are seeking an experienced, skilled information technology candidate  to join our growing organization. In this position, you will be  responsible for supporting network databases and systems, updating  system hardware and software, troubleshooting for system errors, and  assisting team members in supporting all data security and optimization.  An extensive background in technology and computer science, with  experience in maintaining and installing IT systems, is a must.

Main Duties Include:

• Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers apps, hardware)
• Check computer hardware (HDD, mouses, keyboards etc.) to ensure functionality
• Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications
• Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance
• Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
• Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work
• Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)
• Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders
• Review diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of system
• Monitor security certificates and company compliance of requirements
• LAN/WAN, Wifi, Networks, servers and be able to Install, run cable, etc.

Required skills and qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in IT
• Deep  knowledge of operating systems, current equipment and technologies,  enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance  monitoring tools
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information

Preferred skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science
• Project management experience
• Professional certification
