Position Summary Responsible for overall product movement in alignment with build schedules and delivery commitments. Essential Functions · Schedule work through assigned business units. · Drive assigned product priorities through support functions and shared resources. · Maintain awareness and coordination, and expedite as needed current critical parts to fruition. · Timely elevation of unsolvable delivery issues relative to commitments to our customers. · Provide estimated part completions in daily production meetings. · Work with area managers on optimizing employee work assignments. · Determine and coordinate off-shift and weekend work priorities. · Work with area managers to identify and solve delivery and constraint issues. · Support release of material. Competencies · Strong organizational skills. · Operate with a sense of urgency while always focusing on safety and quality. · Strong written and verbal communication skills. · Ability to understand, follow and provide both written and verbal instructions. · Excellent attitude and teamwork. · Able to navigate various computer software programs in support of position. · Solid understanding of MRP principles. · Ability to learn and adapt to changes on the manufacturing floor. · Continuous improvement mindset that promotes company-wide, positive change Experience and Education · A minimum of 5 years in aerospace manufacturing. · At least 3 years of MRP and/or ERP systems use. · Proficient in Microsoft Excel, as well as other Microsoft products. · Strong understanding of a manufacturing value stream. · High school diploma or equivalent required. Supervisory Responsibility This position does not have supervisory responsibilities. Work Authorization US Person (Green Card Holder or United States Citizen) due to government contracts.
