IT Production Control Supervisor jobs in California

LifeScience equipment company is seeking a Procurement/Production Control Supervisor in Dublin, CA

Location: Dublin, CA (No Remote)

Work hours: M- F 9a -6p (Flexible) 40 hours/week base- occational over time may be involved

Salary Range: 80-90K/year

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify suppliers of goods and services
• Negotiate terms with suppliers such as price, quality of goods, deadlines, expectations, etc.
• Liaise with suppliers and managers regarding updates and details of goods
• Create purchase orders and tally these with supply requests and orders
• Analyze invoices to ensure accuracy of goods delivered
• Monitor inventory to ensure the flow of goods remains positive
• Work closely with the projects team to understand details of procurement requirements
• Help manufacturing staff achieve company goals by communicating expectations, planning, monitoring, and evaluating job results
• Enforce company policies and guidelines
• Trains employees
• Assist workers by offering personal growth opportunities
• Implement cost-saving strategies and techniques
• Ensure that production plans are completed by a certain time
• Contact appropriate sources for repair issues
• Counsel employees on how to achieve an optimal output or workflow
• Resolve issues and disputes between manufacturing employees
• Create and maintains professional schedules
• Communicate with and assists other manufacturing departments as needed
• Evaluate the condition of production equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for all workers
• Compile and analyzes production records
• Perform the inventory management and the monthly physical inventory
• Analyze each reason of discrepancies between the data in the accounting software and physical inventory
• Communicate with accounting manager to adjust the inventory
• Other requested by the management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with experience in the field
• Procurement work experiences
• Broad knowledge of production planning processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Impeccable negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and rapport building
