As an IT Manager for Snap Tech IT, you will have one of the most valuable and sought-after roles within Snap Tech IT and the technology industry.
You will be the assigned expert, trusted advisor, IT decision maker, and thought leader for your assigned clients. Your expertise will help drive your client’s Strategic IT Roadmap and ensure that the plan you set forth aligns with the client’s business goals and objectives. This position works closely with their assigned clients to help guide and maintain operational and capital budgets to support the success of their Strategic IT Road Maps.
We are looking for a highly motivated team player who is willing to work closely with others, not be afraid to ask for help, share knowledge/experience, and offer guidance when needed. You will participate in weekly meetings to discuss ongoing client issues, headlines, and the status of quarterly goals. The IT Manager role works with the IT Director to determine the technical standards for all technology used by Snap Tech IT and their clients. Being the IT Manager/vCIO requires you to “stay in the know” for technology by means of company paid certifications and training. To ensure success in this role, you will work closely with your clients to manage change requests, review ticket trends, and maintain all necessary client documentation, including the maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOP). Your goal is to ensure the service team can efficiently implement, maintain, and/or perform repairs for any service desk requests or project implementations. This role works closely with the client’s assigned account manager to build technical solutions that meet the business needs and provide an IT framework for their future business growth.
Onsite client visits and travel will also be required at times. Any travel outside of the metro area will be preplanned and scheduled accordingly. Most of this travel will be to perform Risk and IT Discovery Assessments and to meet in person for quarterly business reviews with business owners. You will use the Risk and IT Discovery Assessments to gain firsthand knowledge of potential new clients’ IT infrastructures. When they sign on as a new client, you as their IT Manager/vCIO will already know the most about their account which will help you ensure a speedy implementation and complete execution of their onboarding project.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and maintain 3-Year IT Strategic Plans that aligns with the client’s organizational goals and objectives.
· Build technical solutions to meet business needs; both current needs and to provide framework for future growth. This includes creating a bill of materials (BOM), scopes of work (SOW), and full statements of work.
· Maintain an accurate accounting of time spent on client matters and report using the company's ConnectWise Management system.
· Manage Client Onboarding Projects for new Managed Services clients.
· Prepare for regular cadence client meetings with supporting documentation, including a review of all tickets in the given period.
· Identify patterns in tickets and deliver strategic recommendations to clients.
· Manage Risk and IT Discovery Assessments for new clients.
· Manage all Annual Cyber Security Audit Projects for assigned clients.
· Manage change management requests for assigned clients.
· Maintain client profitability by making data-driven, high-impact implementations or resolutions to reduce ticket volume and preventing reoccurring incidents.
· Responsible for client documentation for assigned clients per Snap Tech IT Client Documentation Policy.
· On call duties per Snap Tech IT After Hours policy.
Qualifications:
· 5 years related industry experience, and/or training, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
· Multiple vendor certifications and accreditations in primary technologies.
· Knowledge of Managed Services, Security Solutions, Cloud Solutions, Backup/Disaster Recovery, Virtualization, and Storage.
· Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills.
· Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines.
· Proven experience building excellent client relationships, strategy, and teamwork.
· Excellent communication, documentation, and customer facing skills.
· Strong team player, ability to lead.
· Experience establishing long-term IT strategies.
· Ability to travel as needed.
Salary Range: $95,000- $105,000
