Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
* Provide maintenance to local company networks while maintaining and optimizing the technology landscape.
* Executing critical IT related manufacturing procedures and conducting investigations into IT related deviations in manufacturing activities.
* Manage internal customer relationships and expectations by developing a communication process to keep others up to date on initiatives and impact to the user community.
* Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills in leading issue resolution.
* Own issues through resolution, escalating to appropriate support member/team when necessary.
* Complete installation of hardware and software as required along with regular updates, work with the IT team to configure hardware and software.
* Monitor, and analyze system performance and provide valid recommendations and suggestions to improve performance from an operational standpoint.
* Make recommendations on operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
* Ensure high levels of service delivery, systems availability, security controls and recoverability.
* Prepare reports and ensure optimal performance and maintain records of operating or service level agreements with internal customers.
Qualifications:
* At least 5 years of IT Operations experience in complex, fast pace, cross-organizational corporate structures.
* Bachelor's degree or above in Information Technology, Operations Management, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
* Microsoft Azure and O365 certifications highly desirable.
* Network certifications highly desirable.
* Strong interpersonal skills and communications skills. Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and business personnel at all levels of an organization.
* Experience supporting IT systems in highly regulated environments.
* Experience in multiple technologies in the areas of Network switches, routers, wireless APs, firewalls, Server OS', Client OS', Server & client hardware, cabling infrastructure.
* Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Experience with Microsoft Office 365 products and Virtual Desktops.
* Experience with Audio Visual systems' management, maintenance and support.
* Familiarity with industrial control systems/operational technology components and systems (Programmable logic controllers, distributed control systems, process automation systems, manufacturing execution systems, etc).
* Experience with GMP (GAMP5) documentation and practices.
