    Air and Space Force Solutions, a business unit within BAE Systems, has an opening for a Procurement Manager / Unit Software License Manager (USLM) at our Hill Air Force Base, Utah location. The selected candidate will join our Information Services team and have an important role in supporting our mission of strategic deterrence through continual improvement and innovation. The position will have the following duties and responsibilities:
    • Develop and maintain professional and dependable relationships with both internal and external customers
    • Prepare/review proposals
    • Develop evaluation criteria
    • Negotiate contract provisions
    • Select or recommend suppliers
    • Prepare purchase orders and administer resulting sub-contracts, negotiate additions, deletions, or modifications to sub-contracts, and resolve invoice issues
    • Track all software licensing
    • Ability to find win-win solutions
    • Ability to work closely with Contracts, Finance, and Project Managers

    Clearance Requirement

    Required Education, Experience, & Skills
    Education and Experience Requirement
    A technical degree and years of relevant experience for this position are as follows:
    • High School Diploma and 10 years of experience, or
    • BA/BS Degree and 7 years of experience, or
    • MA/MS Degree and 5 years of experience
    Additional Requirements
    • Experience developing and enhancing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective
    • Experience sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors in accordance with government procurement regulations
    • Experience building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers
    • Experience in procurement across various commodities (hardware, software, electronics, cables, optics, etc.)
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to communicate clearly to all levels in the organization
    • Financial acumen, project/supplier management, strategic/critical thinking, negotiations
    • Excellent time management/organization skills
    Clearance Requirement
    The applicant must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. An active Secret clearance is preferred, but not required.

    Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
    • Experience implementing asset tracking best practices within DoD or Federal government environments
    • Experience as a DoD USLM
    • Experience interacting with government stakeholders
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • Previous experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence
    • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Able to work with little to no supervision – proactive approach to issue identification and resolution
    • Able to work independently and take initiative without being directed
    • Active Secret security clearance is preferred


    Pay Information
    Full-Time Salary Range: $91980 - $156330

    Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
