The Logistics and Procurement Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective movement of equipment, goods, and materials through the supply chain. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of logistics, from procurement to distribution, and optimizing processes to meet our customers' needs. Supervises the Supply Technicians at White Sands Missile Range, National Training Center, and Joint Readiness Training Center. Supports the Supply Technician in the warehouse with various logistics tasks & inventory processes. Will perform aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities. Candidate will have good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines; an understanding of the needs of the organization serviced; and analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines. Provides tracking data for purchases from all sites through the established Purchase Request process. Responsible for the Government Federal Express Accounts and provides monthly updates on usage through data collected from all sites. Works with the onsite Government lead in managing the GSA Fleet of vehicles assigned to the contract.

The following experience is required:
· 15 years of Military and/or Defense Contracting supply and property control experience.
The following experience and/or licenses are considered an advantage
· Experience tracking standard and non-standard US Government material (NSN & non-NSN items)
· Experience with maintenance database input and data entry.
· Local purchase execution and tracking.
· Hazardous Material.
· Forklift license.
· Class B or A CDL.
