Job Summary: Procurement Officer’s primary responsibilities will be purchasing material and executing sub-contracts. Additionally, knowledge and understanding various our contract’s supply and budgets is imperative. Experience in assisting in subcontractor vetting and pre-qualification checks as well as vendor management is preferred. Attention to detail when verifying the accuracy of vendor quotes and aligning them with project specifications is vital. To be considered for this position you must have a background in construction.

3 years of professional work experience in procurement and proven experience in procurement, financial management, and contract administration within the construction industry.
Experience in Electrical strongly preferred.
Physical Demands:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
Work Environment:
This position requires the successful candidate to work in the office full time Monday – Friday 8am-5pm (flexible).
Frequent sitting for prolonged periods while operating telephone system and computer; intermittently twisting and reaching to operate other equipment and access resource materials.
Employees may be exposed to hand, power and noise producing tools and equipment and the noise level in the work environment may be loud.
