    Role: The IT Manager is responsible for leading the IT function at Radius Logistics, including completing current IT objectives and developing and implementing ongoing IT initiatives. The successful candidate will be a manager with proven leadership, communication and technical skills who is excited to be the hands-on leader of a two-person team in an entrepreneurial environment.

    As the IT Manager you will have a strong technical aptitude and project management skillset. You should be a self-starter who is excited by the opportunity to make their mark on an organization.

    Responsibilities/Duties:
    • Organize existing IT priorities and provide a timeline and budget for completion.
    • Provide hands-on leadership in all aspects of technology.
    • Partner with the Director of Finance in the development of a formal IT strategy and manage the implementation of its various components.
    • As a hands-on leader, mentor full time IT staff and third-party vendors to manage all hardware and software components of existing ERP system, Windows Server and MS Exchange environment (currently migrated to Office 365), wireless device management and all related aspects of an Enterprise WAN.
    • Fulfill the role of project manager for all IT projects including developing, implementing, and evaluating IT projects in line with organizational objectives.
    • Identifying vulnerabilities, the need for upgrades, and opportunities for improvement with a particular eye to security.
    • Produce reporting and assist in preparing financial budgets.
    • Building and maintaining relationships with external advisors and vendors.
    • Ensuring reported issues are resolved in a timely manner.
    • Provide project maps, budgets and timelines for all current and future IT projects that allow the senior team to engage and support the success of same.
    • Support the creation of a 1-, 3- and 5-year strategic plan with budgets for the senior team.
    To be successful you need to have: 
    • IT management in a medium sized business environment
    • 3 years’ experience managing Microsoft OS, ERP systems (WMS, RFID, and e-payments), enterprise data centres.
    • Demonstrated ability to oversee and support software processes, lifecycles, development
    • Proven experience with designing, implementing, and maintaining physical infrastructure
    • Directory, policy, security, and operating system administration skills and proven experience
    • Direct involvement with telecommunication, mobile, and wireless device management within an environment of ~40 users
    • Strong analytic and organization skills
    • Experience leading or supervising others
    Nice to have skills: 
    • Enterprise application integrations and cloud computing
    • Internet based ordering systems and customer portals
    • Desktop OS imaging administration
    • SharePoint design/usage
    • Truckmate knowledge & experience
    • Transportation or Supply chain industry experience
