IT Procurement Manager leads and manages all phases of the IT procurement function. Evaluates and identifies the needs of the organization and stakeholders. To be an IT Procurement Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     The Procurement Manager will be responsible to manage all products for Jindal Americas and provide strategic support to the global team located in LaGrange, GA. 

    PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Improve sourcing for all products for Jindal Americas.
    • Implement best in class pricing management and order fulfillment practices to meet productivity & inventory management targets.
    • Develop a deep understanding of the supply base, sourcing practices in product industry and identify sourcing initiatives that deliver differentiated value to the Jindal Americas.
    • Work with the team to ensure efforts are focused on value-added solutions that lead to quality results.
    • Use data from multiple constituents to devise plans for competing marketplace.
    • Build strong internal and global networks for collaboration to identify and adopt leading-edge ideas that result in increased success.
    • Develop and retain an effective team to support the procurement efforts.

    EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics and/or Supply Chain. Other disciplines might be accepted, depending on supply chain/procurement knowledge and experience.
    • SAP ERP experience well desired, especially in MM - Material Management, PO management.
    • Advanced in data management and Microsoft software (Excel - Pivot tables, Vlookup and Macro plus PowerPoint. Access is a plus).
    • 5 years of experience required with expertise in procurement processes and best practices.
    • 2 years of managerial experience.
