IT Operations Manager - the IT operations manager will report directly to the CIO and assist with the day-to-day management of the department. We are looking for an experienced and motivated information technology manager who will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring that computing systems and equipment are operating effectively and efficiently. To be successful in this position you will demonstrate a detailed knowledge of the industry’s best practices and evidence a professional track record of effective technical management, information analysis, and a thorough understanding of computer hardware and software systems. This position participates in the after-hours and weekend help desk on call rotation. Some travel will be required.
Responsibilities:
· Manage and direct the operation of the Help Desk Staff
· Train employees on both software and hardware, troubleshoot, and provide technical support when needed
· Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
· Manage and maintain telecommunications and cell phone systems and vendors
· Track and maintain hardware and software inventory
· Coordinating technology installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
Preferred Skillset
· Proven working experience as an IT Manager or relevant experience
· Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
· Experience working in a hybrid on-premise Microsoft Active Directory/ Microsoft 365 Cloud environment
· Experience supporting other cloud-based SaaS systems.
· Expertise in data center management and data governance
· Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
· Ability to manage personnel
· BS in Computer Science, MIS or similar field or relevant experience
· Hospitality IT experience a plus
