IT Procurement Administrator jobs in West Palm Beach, FL

The IT Procurement Coordinator is responsible for logistics, inventory management and planning, working with cross functional teams, vendors and transportation providers to streamline operations and optimize efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities

Inventory Management:

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels in SAP by Design.
• Conduct regular stock assessments and coordinate restocking activities.
• Generate regular reports on item transfers and open purchase orders for proper fulfillment in SAP by Design.

Shipping and Transportation Management:

• Coordinate and schedule inbound and outboard shipments.
• Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and documentation requirements.
• Collaborate with transportation providers to optimize routes and reduce shipping costs.
• Track and report on transportation metrics, including on-time delivery performance.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels and other relevant information.

Supplier and Vendor Communication:

• Communicate with suppliers and vendors to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional internal teams.

Order Processing:

• Process and track customer orders from initiation to delivery.
• Work closely with end users to ensure delivery and receiving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field or certification in supply chain.
• Two (2) plus years in warehousing, procurement, logistics or other areas in supply chain.
• Experience with database management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Ability to use cross functional tools to make analytical decisions.
• Agility to work independently with minimum supervision.
