Summary: The IT Security Administrator will act as the senior IT security expert responsible for implementation and monitoring of the IT security plan. The position is responsible for the following: Plan, direct, implement and evaluate the functions associated with IT security including strategy, infrastructure, software, services, policies, procedures, end-user awareness and education.

Education and/or Experience:

• Associates degree (Bachelor’s degree preferred) with a focus on Information Systems/Computer Science including a minimum 5 years of experience focused on IT Security Administration.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Knowledge of computer and system hardware/software along with a strong understanding of LAN/WAN and communication environments. Knowledge of healthcare and business software deployed in a hospital environment.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Proficiency in project management, analytical problem solving, system planning, overseeing computer systems operations, and organizing and managing user support.
