    Why OunceIT?

OunceIT recognizes that people struggle with technology and change. In everything we do, we seek to eliminate the frustrations people experience with technology tools so that they may instead delight in those experiences.

OunceIT employees put people and relationships before tech tools — we’re people people. Our clients are primarily k–12 independent schools in the greater Boston and Worcester areas, but also include small- to medium-size businesses as well as home clients who recognize the value in our versatile team approach: While each of our staff have specialized skills and training, each team member is also a generalist, able to meet the needs of any client at any time.

    We believe that I.T. takes a team.®

The Procurement department at OunceIT is fast-growing, providing critical support to our internal teams and customers through a wide variety of products and services. About You

You are organized, efficient, and process-minded. You enjoy working independently through recurring tasks and repeatable workflows. You are excited by opportunities that arise to codify nuanced situations into documentation. You thrive when given the autonomy to manage your time and individual processes to make yourself as efficient as possible. Above all, you are a trusted and dependable member of the team, eager to partner and communicate with teammates to accomplish a common goal.

    About the Role

This may include introduction calls with new vendors or new vendor representatives, understanding and navigating of vendor portals, and managing all vendor records within OunceIT’s internal systems.
    • Stay up to date on industry trends and new product availability
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure OunceIT’s line card comprehensively meets the ever-changing needs of customers
    • Assess gaps, trends and challenges in sourcing strategy and escalate to management with client-focused solutions
