IT Contracts Manager creates, writes, negotiates and reviews hardware or software licensing contracts. Works with the Business Development team in establishing agreements that reflect the interests of partners and the company. Being an IT Contracts Manager also works with legal counsel when drafting licensing agreements. Ensures contract performance and rewrites or amends as necessary. Additionally, IT Contracts Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Must have a solid understanding of web technology. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The IT Contracts Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes.     Responsibilities

    • Manage the help desk team and evaluate performance
    • Ensure customer service is timely and accurate on a daily basis
    • Recruit, train, and support help desk representatives and technicians
    • Set specific customer service standards
    • Contribute to improving customer support by actively responding to queries and handling complaints
    • Establish best practices throughout the entire technical support process
    • Follow up with customers to identify areas of improvement
    • Provide customer feedback to the appropriate internal teams
    • Travel to client sites
    • Meet regularly with client leadership to ensure Help Desk is meeting the organization's requirements/needs
    • Manage client accounts to follow/comply with the Suzor IT Municipal playbook
    • Ability to resolve conflict through de-escalation


    Requirements and skills

    • Proven work experience as a Help desk manager
    • Hands-on experience with help desk and remote control software
    • Solid technical background with an ability to give instructions to a non-technical audience
    • Customer-service oriented with a problem-solving attitude
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
    • Team management skills
    • BS degree (or similar experience) in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field



    Help Desk Technician Compensation, Benefits, Schedule, and Location

    • Compensation: $70,000 to $80,000 per year 
    • Schedule: Monday to Friday (8:00am to 4:00pm)
    • Location: This position may require some travel.
